I quite like this stitch. It's unique compared to the other stitches so far in the book, and I think it would make a nice summer scarf. A thinner yarn would do this pattern justice more than the yarn I used, and the lace effect would be enhanced. It's quite easy and works up very quickly, and suitable for beginners.
I used Red Heart Super Saver Petal Pink yarn with an H hook.
