This stitch was quick and easy, but my square didn't turn out as well defined as the book's sample. My pattern is more difficult to see and looks a bit like a less pronounced basket stitch, while the book had more wavy ridges.
I used CraftSmart Value Grey yarn with a J hook. On a side note, this yarn is actually very soft and glides easily, so I'll likely be favoring it in future squares.
